Solar Plant Noor 3

Permanent architectural laser projections on 242 m high NOOR 3 solar tower in Ouarzazate for the company Acwa Power.
 

A total of 7 lasers spread over a circumference of 2.5 km were required to create the desired projection effects. Given the height of the tower, we opted for our Pure Energy RGB model with an extremely low divergence of 0.5 mrad!
 

All the lasers are connected by optical fiber to a central network placed in the control room at the foot of the tower. Our OTC3 all weather protection enclosures have been used to protect the lasers from the extreme conditions (extreme heat in the day, below freezing point at night,, sand storme with heavy wind, etc.). Thanks to a remote connection, the operator can access the data of these boxes and extract the logs, configure and remotely adjust the parameters (heat, cooling, humidity level)  in real time.
